What's the story

South Africa clinched the three-match ODI series against Namibia after a resounding 157-run victory in the second match at Windhoek. With this, South Africa have taken an unassailable lead in the series, with one game still remaining. The win was largely down to Connor Esterhuizen's maiden ODI century and Tony de Zorzi knock of 79. In a chase of 336, Namibia could only manage 178 in 41.5 overs. Skipper Gerhard Erasmus did well with a knock of 68. However, it wasn't enough.

Knock

Erasmus is the lone half-centurion for Namibia

Erasmus came in after Namibia were reduced to 1/3 with Eathan Bosch and Duan Jansen ripping them apart.

Soon the side was reduced to 20/4, 32/5 and 59/6.

Erasmus found some respite from the other end via Jan Balt as the duo added a vital 71-run stand off 96 balls.

Both players then departed in quick succession. Nqobani Mokoena dismissed Erasmus in the 35th over.

It was a solid effort in a losing cause from the Namibia skipper.
