India-Australia 3rd ODI: Who could be in the playing XI?

The Indian cricket team will face Australia in the third ODI of the five match series at Indore's Holkar Cricket Stadium. After winning the first two ODI matches, India will look to seal the series today at Indore. Let us have a look at the probable XI for both the teams, who could play in the third ODI match.

    India's record at Indore

Indian team has a 100 percent success rate at the Holkar Stadium in Indore and has won all four ODIs played here. Surprisingly, India have also won all the tosses. It will be a new venue for Australia, as they have never played here.

Kohli to go with the same playing XI?

Indian skipper Virat Kohli played with the same team in the first and second ODIs. With a positive results in both the matches, it is highly possible that he will again go with the same team. The possible XI: Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal and Jasprit Bumrah.

    Rain threat over 3rd ODI?

Rain played spoilsport during the first ODI match at Chennai. Before the second ODI at Kolkata, the teams practised indoors due to heavy rains. Even before 3rd ODI, rain remains a major concern as Indore had heavy rainfall on Friday.

Do or die match for the visitors!

Australia will have to win the third ODI if they want to keep the series alive. However, the visitors have struggled in all the departments on the ground and also have been unlucky with injuries. Unavailability of Aaron Finch, who is out due to a calf muscle injury, has been a big reason of worry for the Australian camp.

    Probable Australian team

If Finch is fit to play the third ODI, the probable Australian team could be: Aaron Finch, David Warner, Steven Smith, Travis Head, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Wade, James Faulkner, Ashton Agar, Adam Zampa and Nathan Coulter-Nile.
