After parting ways with David Warner, Sunrisers Hyderabad are looking toward a new era in the leadership of Kane Williamson. Taking advantage of the IPL 2022 mega auction, SRH have rebuilt their squad from the scratch. They entered the auction with Rs. 68 crore after retaining Kane Williamson (Rs. 14 crore), Abdul Samad (Rs. 4 crore), and Umran Malik (Rs. 4 crore).

Sunrisers Hyderabad shelled out Rs. 10.75 crore to acquire the services of Nicholas Pooran. They roped in Washington Sundar for Rs. 8.75 crore and are paying Rs. 4 crore to T Natarajan. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar has also been signed by SRH for Rs. 4.2 crore. They are paying Rs. 8.5 crore to Rahul Tripathi and have bought Abhishek Sharma for Rs. 6.5 crore.
