IPL 2022, PBKS beat CSK: List of records broken

Batting first, PBKS were reduced to 14/2 before Shikhar Dhawan and Liam Livingstone added 95 runs for the second wicket. CSK hit back from there on but a few contributions from here and there helped PBKS get to 180. Chris Jordan (2/23) was superb for CSK. In response, CSK were reduced to 36/5 and that was enough for PBKS to gain control.
Shikhar Dhawan slammed 33 from 24 balls slamming four fours and a six. The southpaw has raced to 5,876 runs at 34.76. He now has 941 runs versus CSK at an average of 40.91. Livingstone slammed 60 from 32 balls, slamming five fours and five sixes. He enjoyed a strike rate of 187.50. This was his maiden IPL fifty.
Both teams have locked horns with each other on 26 occasions in IPL. CSK have the edge with 15 wins to date. Meanwhile, PBKS have now mustered 11 wins. Both sides had earlier won a game each in the last edition of the tournament.
Shivam Dube slammed 57 from 30 balls. He smashed six fours and three sixes. He had a strike rate of 190.00. This was Dube's second IPL fifty. This was also his second-highest score in the competition.
