    After 2018 IPL, what next for Indian cricket team?

    With the 2018 Indian Premier League coming to its conclusion, national team players will now be gearing up for a busy season ahead. India cricket team have Test, T20I and ODI assignments in the next two months. It will be interesting to see how do they go about with Playing XI across the three formats. Here is more on India's schedule.

    India start their campaign with a one-off Test against Afghanistan

    India will be up against debutants Afghanistan in the one-off Test which will be played between June 14-18. The match will be held in Bengaluru. Ajinkya Rahane will be leading a 15-member squad in absence of Virat Kohli. This is India's first Test at home in 2018. The match will be starting at 9:30 AM.

    India travel to Ireland for a two-match T20I series

    India start their tour of UK with a two-match T20I series against Ireland. The Indian T20I team will be led by Virat Kohli. The two games would be played on June 27 and 29 respectively. This is the first bilateral series between the two nations. The matches will be played at The Village in Dublin and will start at 8:30 PM.

    India and England to battle it out in three T20Is

    The task will be cut out for India when they take on England in T20Is. The first T20I is scheduled to take place in Old Trafford, Manchester on July 3. The 2nd T20I will be played at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff on July 6. Both matches start at 10:00 PM. The 3rd T20I is at County Ground, Bristol on July 8 at 6:30 PM.

    3 ODIs against England in July

    Post T20Is, India would battle it out in the 3-match ODI series against England. The first ODI will be played at Trent Bridge on July 12 and starts at 5:00 PM. The next game is to be played at Lord's on July 14. The match starts at 3:30 PM. The final match is at Headingley on July 17, which will begin at 5:00 PM.
