    Last year, Neymar was bought by Paris-Saint Germain for a staggering sum of £198m.

    This, in turn, has also led to a steep jump in the weekly-wages of footballers.

    He decided to join Jurgen Klopp's side after agreeing a weekly wage of £120,000 to make him one of the highest earners at Anfield.

    Mid-fielder Naby Keita, too, earns the same amount.

    The Reds paid £50m+ for his services.

    The former Monaco player is a hardworking defensive mid-fielder, who is strong on the ball. His rise has been phenomenal.

    He is currently drawing £130,000-per-week and earlier he used to earn only €49,000 (£440,000) at the French club.

    Fabinho adds depth to the side and will vie for a place alongside Jordan Henderson.

    He is currently on a weekly wage of £180,000-per-week.

    He got £35,000 more than what he pocketed at Southampton.

    Salah is also one of the highest paid players in the league.
