    What's the story

    Indian opener, Rohit Sharma slammed seventh 150+ knock of his ODI career in the fourth match against West Indies.

    His innings was laced with 20 boundaries and 4 sixes.

    This was his 21st ODI ton and among Indians, he is only behind Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly.

    Sharma scripts a host of records

    For India, the pair of Rohit and Shikhar Dhawan now has the second highest number of ODI runs (3,920) for the first wicket.

    They have gone past 3,919 runs amassed by the pair of Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag.

    They are just behind Ganguly-Tendulkar, who have 6,609 runs between them.

    Rohit is the fourth quickest to slam 21 ODI tons, taking only 186 innings.

    Sharma in a league of his own

    Sharma has become the first batsman to score an ODI century at Brabourne.

    He is the second quickest opener behind Amla (102 innings) to get to 19 ODI tons, taking 107 innings.

    Sharma is second to only Dhoni in terms of the number of ODI sixes hit by an Indian batsman, with 198 maximums to his name.

    Before this match, Dhoni had 218 sixes.

    Sharma among the greats?

    Sharma sits on the second spot in terms of most 300+ runs in a bilateral series for India.

    He has achieved this landmark on five occasions.

    He is only behind Kohli, who has done it seven times.

    Sharma's century now means that India have the highest number of batsmen with 20+ ODI tons.

    Besides Sharma, Tendulkar, Kohli and Ganguly feature on this list.

    Sharma now leads the charts in terms of highest 150+ ODI scores, having scored so on seven occasions. He is followed by Tendulkar and David Warner with five each. Gayle, Jayasuriya, Amla, and Kohli have four knocks under their belts.
