A World XI squad is scheduled to tour Pakistan in a bid to bring international cricket back to the country. Tahir was named in the squad, earlier. Meanwhile, Pakistan's Minister for Interior, Ahsan Iqbal, replied to Tahir's tweet promising investigation and action. Iqbal wrote, "Imran sorry to read your post. We will have this investigated and action will be taken against those responsible."
