US Open: Players (men) reaching semi-finals with fewest games dropped
Jack Draper, a 22-year-old British tennis player, booked his spot in the ongoing US Open semi-final after defeating Australia's Alex de Minaur. Draper defeated Minaur in three straight sets as the scoreline read, 6-3, 7-5, 6-2. As per Opta, Draper became only the third player since 1985 to reach the US Open semi-final with the fewest games dropped. Here is the complete list.
Novak Djokovic
Novak Djokovic, the 24-time Grand Slam Champion stands atop this list with him making it to the 2016 US Open semis while dropping only 27 games in total. The Serb also reached the 2012 and 2013 edition's semi-finals dropping only 32 and 33 games respectively. However, earlier in the ongoing edition, Djokovic was eliminated in the third round, being defeated by Alexei Popyrin.
Ivan Lendl
Former American-Czech tennis legend, Ivan Lendl, has won a total of eight Grand Slams, and was the world number one for a record 270 weeks. Lendl features in this list, becoming only the second man to reach the 1987 US Open semi-final while dropping only 34 games in total. Notably, Lendl also reached a record eight consecutive US Open finals.

After his quarter-final win, the Briton went on to become only the third male tennis player to reach the US Open semi-final dropping the least number of games. Draper reached the semis of the ongoing US Open while dropping only 36 games in total. Notably, this will be Draper's maiden Grand Slam semi-final appearance.
