  • West Indies thrashed lacklustre Pakistan in match number two of the ICC World Cup 2019 on Friday.

    The Windies produced sheer hostility with short balls to dismiss Sarfaraz Ahmed's side for just 105. Oshane Thomas was the star performer.

    The Windies then chased down the target.

    Seven Pakistani batsmen were dismissed being caught out today.

    Gayle is now the third highest run-scorer for WI in the World Cup.

    He also struck his 52nd career ODI fifty.

    He is now the third Windies player to do so.

    Gayle now has 96 fours in the World Cup and needs four more to reach three figures.
