WrestleMania 35: Analyzing the fate of WWE Championship matchLast updated on Mar 31, 2019, 07:23 pm
The WrestleMania season is in its final stage as we are just a week away from the Showcase of Immortals.
Further, the WWE Championship match, involving Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston saw several twists this month.
After weeks of uncertainty, Kofi is set to face Bryan for the Championship at WrestleMania, but is it so?
Let us analyze further.
Story so far
Kofi going to WrestleMania, courtesy hard work of New Day
While Kofi has sealed his ticket to WrestleMania, it did come under some weird circumstances.
Kofi did not earn the spot on his own, as his New Day team-mates (Big E and Xavier Woods) were put in a grueling gauntlet match, which determined Kofi's qualification.
New Day did survive and made sure that Kofi gets his WrestleMania opportunity.
Is Kofi going to WrestleMania alone?
Since New Day helped Kofi qualify for WrestleMania, it is sure that their hard work would not go unnoticed by Vince McMahon.
Therefore, it could be possible that Vince would put one final twist in the tale by putting all the three members in a match against each other.
The winner of that match faces Bryan for the Championship at WrestleMania.
Big E and Woods get added at WrestleMania (Fatal-4-Way)
As Big E and Woods helped Kofi to qualify for WrestleMania, Vince would feel that they also deserve to be in the match at WrestleMania.
Thus, right before the grandest match starts, Vince could come out and make an announcement for a Fatal-4-Way match.
As a result, Big E and Woods would be added into the match.
Big E and Woods turn on Kofi
In another possible scenario, there could be foul play involved.
It is possible that Big E and Woods could turn on Kofi by making him get disqualified or attacking him post match at WrestleMania.
The next week on SmackDown, they could come up with the explanation that it was owing to them Kofi qualified for WrestleMania, and thereby inserting themselves into the championship picture.
Or the other way around
Things could also go the other way.
If Vince has one last foul play under his sleeve, it could be making Kofi turn on his New Day team-mates.
Vince would possibly threaten Kofi that he could still pull him off his WrestleMania opportunity if he does not do what he is asked to.
Consequently, Kofi would headline WrestleMania as a heel.
Stacking odds against Kofi's favor, again
Vince is known to be the mastermind of foul play.
Therefore, he can also come up with one at the last moment when he announces multiple stipulations for the match, stacking the odds against Kofi's favor.
Vince could give him the reason that he had his WrestleMania opportunity, but he never wanted him to win since he is still not championship material.
