What's the story

Pakistani security forces today killed five suspected suicide bombers, apparently Afghan nationals, who tried to enter the FC Madadgar Center in Quetta and foiled a major terrorist attack in the troubled Balochistan province. Four soldiers were also injured. The attack was in retaliation for the killing of a key commander of the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi in Kili Almas in the province last night. Here's more.

The Attack

Terrorists carried out suicide attack on Ramzan's first day

The failed attack came just hours after a suicide bomber struck an FC convoy in the northwestern city of Nowshera, wounding 10 people. On the first day of the holy month of Ramazan, terrorists also carried out a suicide attack on an FC vehicle in Nowshera in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. At least 12 people, including six security forces personnel, were injured in the blast.
