On Friday, the Russian government awarded Prime Minister Narendra Modi with their highest civilian award, 'Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle'.

The decree was signed by the Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This has marked the seventh major international award that PM Modi received since 2016.

Earlier this month, he was awarded the highest civilian award by the United Arab Emirates.
