    Bajaj Auto has introduced a new Volcano Red color variant of the Pulsar 220F which is one of most popular sports bike in India.

    The new model will join the already available dual-tone Black Red and Black Blue variants.

    As for the pricing, the Volcano Red model costs the same as the existing Pulsar 220F models.

    Bajaj Pulsar 220F: At a glance

    The Bajaj Pulsar 220F features a semi faired sporty look with the dual-tone paint job, split seats, and black alloy wheels.

    As for the electronic features, it gets a digital-analog instrument console, halogen headlamps as well as indicators, and LED taillamps.

    Moreover, the motorcycle has a wheelbase of 1,350mm and a ground clearance of 165mm.

    The Bajaj Pulsar 220F is powered by a 220cc oil-cooled, single-cylinder, twin spark DTS-i engine which is capable of producing 20.93PS of maximum power at 8,500rpm and 18.55Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.

    Further, the motorcycle is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and promises a top speed of 136kmph.

    Bajaj Pulsar 220F: On the road

    The Bajaj Pulsar 220F comes equipped with 260mm disc brakes on the front and 230mm disc brakes on the rear wheels along with single-channel ABS as standard.

    For handling suspension duties, the motorcycle houses telescopic forks on the front and a 5-way adjustable nitrox shock absorbers on the rear side.

    In India, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F is priced at Rs. 1.07 lakh for all the color variants including the newly launched Volcano Red. At this price point, the motorcycle goes up against rivals such as Yamaha Fazer, and Suzuki Gixxer SF.
