You can now pre-book the all-new Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is all set to launch the Grand i10 NIOS on August 20. The hatchback, which will be positioned between the existing Grand i10 and the Elite i20, has already started reaching dealerships ahead of its launch. You can also pre-book the all-new Grand i10 NIOS by paying a token amount of Rs. 11,000. Here's our roundup.

Looks
Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS: At a glance

The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS features a compact look with a cascading front grille, sleek headlamps, indicator-mounted ORVMs, chrome-finished door handles, and NIOS branding on the tail gate. The hatchback houses projector headlamps along with LED DRLs, fog lamps, and LED taillamps for lighting. Moreover, the Grand i10 NIOS is also longer, wider, and taller than the existing Grand i10.

Interiors
Inside the cabin

Inside, the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS features a five-seater dual-tone cabin with fabric upholstery and a three-spoked multifunctional power steering wheel. As for electronic features, the cabin comes with an 8-inch infotainment system with support for GPS and connectivity features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The hatchback also supports wireless charging and offers automatic climate control.

Engine
Power and performance

The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS is offered in two engine options: a 1.2-liter dual VTVT petrol and a 1.2-liter CRDi diesel. The petrol unit is capable of producing 81bhp of power and 114Nm of peak torque, while the diesel mill churns out 74bhp and 190Nm. For transmission duties, both engines get a five-speed manual gearbox as standard and a five-speed AMT as optional.

Information
Finally, what about the pricing?

As for the pocket pinch, the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS is expected to fall under Rs. 5-8 lakh price bracket in India. Once launched, it will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift, Toyota Glanza, and Tata Nexon.
