Jaguar F-Pace production ends after 10 years
What's the story
Jaguar has officially ended the production of its F-Pace model, marking a major shift in its automotive lineup. The last unit rolled off the assembly line at the Solihull facility in the UK. The final model will be handed over to the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust, which already houses other iconic models from this British luxury car maker.
Model history
A decade of luxury SUV excellence
The Jaguar F-Pace, the brand's first-ever SUV, made its global debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. It hit international markets in 2016 and was launched in India by October of the same year. The model was initially offered with two diesel engines but got a petrol variant in 2018. Its first facelift came in 2021 with new design elements and amenities.

Final offering and Jaguar's electric future
In its last avatar, the Jaguar F-Pace was offered with a choice of two engines: a 247hp, 2-liter petrol engine and a 204hp, 2-liter diesel engine. Both were mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission that sent power to all four wheels (AWD). The discontinuation of this model also marks the end of ICE-powered Jaguars as part of former CEO Thierry Bollore's plan to turn Jaguar into an all-electric brand.

Jaguar's new brand identity
Jaguar's new brand identity was unveiled in November 2024, complete with a new logo and insignias. In December, the company revealed the Type 00 Concept, a preview of its design language for upcoming models. The production version of this four-door electric GT model was initially planned for reveal by end of 2025 but has now been pushed to 2026 due to a major cyberattack in August 2025 that halted global production at Solihull, Halewood, and Wolverhampton facilities.
