KTM India has introduced a new exchange offer wherein you can swap your existing motorcycle (irrespective of the make or model) with a new 250 Duke. Apart from the exchange offer, KTM has also introduced a low-interest rate finance scheme and zero down payment offer for buyers. The interest rate for a one-year finance scheme is 5% and it goes up to 6.5% and 7.1% for two-year and three-year loans, respectively. As for the pricing, the 250 Duke costs Rs. 1.97 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
KTM 250 Duke features a naked street design with an angular-looking fuel tank, hexagonal headlamp, stepped-up seats, and blacked-out alloy wheels with body-colored highlights. The adventure bike has a ground clearance of 185mm, which makes it suitable for rough terrains. Further, it houses a fully-digital instrument console and halogen headlamp along with LED turn indicators as well as taillights.
The KTM 250 Duke is powered by a 248cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which is capable of producing 30PS of power at 9,000rpm and 24Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. The motorcycle comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and promises a top speed of 131kmph. Moreover, it can do a 0-100kmph sprint in 8.49 seconds.
In terms of safety, the KTM 250 Duke comes equipped with 300mm disc brake on the front, 230mm disc brake on the rear, and dual-channel ABS for improved road handling. The motorcycle houses WP upside-down forks on the front and a mono-shock unit on the rear to handle the suspension duties.
