Meet the Toyota GR GT, a 'road-legal' race car
Toyota just dropped the GR GT—a sports car that blurs the line between street and track.
With a twin-turbo V-8 plus an electric motor, it cranks out at least 640hp and 850Nm of torque.
Built on Toyota's first all-aluminum frame with carbon fiber panels, it's designed for serious aerodynamics and a super low center of gravity.
Highlights: Performance meets style
The GR GT packs carbon-ceramic brakes and grippy Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires on 20-inch wheels for sharp handling.
Its bold look comes from a roofline just 47-inch off the ground, while inside you get carbon-backed Recaro seats—think sporty with a touch of Lexus luxury.
Developed alongside Toyota's GR GT3 race car, it shares plenty of racing DNA and aims to keep weight under 1750kg for that true lightweight feel.
