What's the story

Royal Enfield has unveiled a race-specific version of its upcoming Continental GT 750 motorcycle at the ongoing Motoverse 2025. The new bike, dubbed the Continental GT-R 750, was showcased alongside the Continental GT-R 650 race bikes. The launch marks India's debut for this model after its global unveiling at EICMA last month.

Design

A blend of style and performance

The Continental GT-R 750 sports a striking red color scheme, enhancing its Cafe Racer design. It features a semi-fairing and a single-piece seat with a rear hump, both bearing the Royal Enfield badge as well as Harris Performance branding. However, the race-spec model doesn't come with headlight, taillight or turn indicators since these elements are not needed on race tracks.

Specs

Technical specifications and features

The Continental GT-R 750 borrows the same mainframe and subframe as the Continental GT 650. It rides on sticky slick tires for maximum traction on dry asphalt, wrapped around 18-inch alloy wheels at both ends. The bike is suspended on Showa RSU telescopic front forks with rear twin shockers, while braking duties are handled by ByBre components with twin disks at the front and single-disc at the rear.

Expectations

Continental GT-R 750's future prospects

The Continental GT-R 750 also comes with side number plates for racing use, sturdy-looking hand guards, and adjustable levers. It is expected to replace the current Continental GT Cup race motorbikes sometime next year. With a higher displacement of 750cc, the production-spec model could offer around 55hp power and torque of up to 60Nm, mated to a slipper clutch and six-speed gearbox.
