Tata Motors has unveiled its 2026 product lineup, which includes the Punch (facelift), Sierra EV, and next-gen Nexon. The Sierra SUV was recently launched in a front-wheel-drive (FWD) configuration. The company has confirmed that the Sierra EV will be available by Q1 2026. The Punch (facelift) is likely to be the first of these models to hit Indian roads early next year.

The Tata Punch (facelift) is expected to be a major revamp, with a design similar to the Punch EV. It will get a connected light bar, updated bumper design, new alloy wheels and an updated rear end. The interior of the car could also see some major upgrades like a full-digital instrument cluster and two-spoke steering wheel from the EV model.

The updated Tata Punch will continue to be based on the ALFA platform and retain the current 1.2-liter petrol and CNG powertrains. The price of this upgraded model is expected to range between ₹6 lakh and ₹9.5 lakh. This makes it an affordable option for consumers looking for a stylish yet powerful vehicle in the Indian market.
EV launch
Sierra EV: Tata's new electric SUV
In 2026, Tata Motors will also launch the Sierra EV. The car will come in both rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations. It will be built on the Argos platform and feature a skateboard architecture that supports dual motors. Production will take place at Tata's Sanand plant alongside the ICE model of Sierra SUV.

Sierra EV to feature unique front fascia
The Sierra EV will sport a unique front fascia with a blanked-off grille, setting it apart from its ICE counterpart. While the powertrain details are still under wraps, it is expected to feature the Curvv EV's 55kWh pack and Harrier EV's 65kWh unit. The Sierra EV is likely to be priced between ₹16 lakh and ₹25 lakh when it launches by March 2026.
Future model
Next-gen Nexon: A glimpse into Tata's future plans
Tata Motors is also working on the next-gen Nexon, codenamed 'Garud.' The new model will likely switch to a new platform and feature major upgrades under the skin. It is expected to get an overhauled exterior and cabin in line with Tata's latest design language. The Nexon EV will also get a similar update in due course of time.
