Accenture revenue outlook lifts Infosys AD₹8% and Wipro 3%

Infosys's and Wipro's U.S.-listed shares shot up on Thursday after Accenture shared a surprisingly positive revenue outlook.

Infosys ADRs climbed 8% and Wipro rose 3%, as Accenture's upbeat forecast eased worries about global tech spending and signaled steady demand for consulting and managed services, with AI-related work also helping sentiment.

Mphasis, Coforge among top gainers

Accenture's optimism gave a boost to other Indian IT companies too, with Mphasis was among the top gainers, rising up to 5%, followed by Coforge and Infosys.

Calmer US inflation data also helped, reducing fears of interest rate hikes and adding to the positive mood across the tech sector.
