    What's the story

In a bid to take on Vodafone Idea and Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel has updated some of its prepaid plans to pass on more benefits to its users.

The Sunil Mittal-led telco is now offering up to 400MB additional data over the usual data allotment on prepaid plans of Rs. 558, Rs. 509 and Rs. 499 prepaid plans.

Here's a look at the benefits.

    Option #1

Rs. 499 plan: For medium users

Airtel's Rs. 499 plan is near perfect for anyone requiring good data benefit and validity.

The recharge pack, valid for 82 days, now offers 2.4GB of daily data (previously 2GB) along with unlimited calling and 100 daily SMSes.

Moreover, it also offers benefits like complimentary access to Airtel Xstream, free Wynk Music subscription and 1-year Norton Mobile Security subscription as part of #AirtelThanks program.

    Option #2

Airtel Rs. 509 Plan: The balanced pack

If you are looking for a prepaid pack with good data and validity benefit, you can try the Rs. 509 plan.

Under this option, you get 1.8GB of daily data (previously 1.4GB), unlimited calling benefit, and 100 daily SMSes for 90 days.

You also get all #AirtelThanks benefits including 1-year Norton Mobile Security subscription, complimentary access to Airtel Xstream and free Wynk Music subscription.

    Option #3

Airtel Rs. 558 Plan: The premium pack

If you are a heavy internet user, Airtel's Rs. 558 plan should meet your everyday needs.

The plan offers 3GB of daily data along with 400MB additional data as part of the new offer. You also get unlimited free calling as well as 100 daily SMSes. The validity of this recharge pack is 82 days.

Notably, the plan also offers all the #AirtelThanks benefits.

    Information

All the above plans also offer device cashback benefit

The aforementioned mentioned plans also come with a device cashback benefit. As part of the #AirtelThanks program, the telco is providing a cashback of Rs. 2,000 when you buy a new phone and recharge your Airtel number with any of the eligible plans including these.
