Al Hind Air, FlyExpress get green light after IndiGo shake-up

India just cleared two new airlines—Al Hind Air and FlyExpress—with No Objection Certificates, moving them closer to starting operations, right after IndiGo's December 2025 operational meltdown highlighted concerns about too little competition.
The move is all about opening up the skies and making air travel less of a two-player game.
