BHIM app offers attractive cashback: Here's how you can claim
What's the story
Government promoted Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) app has announced a new cashback scheme for both its customers and merchants. Under this scheme, users can claim up to Rs. 750 cashback every month whereas merchants can avail cashback up to Rs. 1,000 per month. Notably, the offer is available for both new and existing users. BHIM app offers Rs. 51 cashback for new customers
New BHIM App users will receive Rs. 51 cashback on successfully completing their first transaction. Firstly, you will have to download the BHIM app (available for both iOS and Android) from your registered mobile number. You will then have to link you bank account and successfully complete the first transaction - send Re 1 or more - to receive Rs. 51 as cashback amount.

Up to Rs. 750 cashback per month: Part A
The scheme with upto Rs. 750 cashback has two parts. In the first part, you can receive Rs. 25 cashback (maximum cashback Rs. 500/month) for every unique transaction done via VPA/UPI ID, Account Number and Mobile Number. Notably, the minimum transaction should be of Rs. 100.

Up to Rs. 750 cashback per month: Part B
The second part deals with the total number of monthly transactions. If you make 25 or more transactions, but less than 50, you will get Rs. 100 cashback. Likewise, for 50 or more but less than 100 transactions, you'll get Rs. 200 cashback and for more than 100 transactions, you will get Rs. 250 cashback. Importantly, all the transactions must be of Rs. 10 or above.

Up to Rs. 1,000 cashback per month for Merchants
The merchants using BHIM app for receiving payments will get a cashback of 10% of the transaction value (maximum Rs. 50). Likewise, other bank merchants who receive UPI payments through BHIM App will get cashback of 10% of transaction value (maximum Rs. 50) per month.
