Hero MotoCorp posts record quarterly profit, EV sales soar

Hero MotoCorp just had a great quarter, with profits up 24% to ₹1,321 crore between July and September.
They sold 1.69 million bikes and scooters—an 11% jump from last year—with domestic sales getting a boost from GST cuts on entry level bikes and international sales soaring 77%.

EV sales shot up by 158%

The company's electric vehicle sales shot up by 158%, thanks to their expanding Vida range.
Hero now aims to sell 25,000 EVs every month within two years.
On top of all this, Harshavardhan Chitale will step in as CEO in January 2026, signaling fresh leadership as the whole two-wheeler industry seems to be on a roll lately.
