Indian markets got a major boost this Thursday after the Democrats's sweeping victory in the US midterms.
The result triggered a sharp drop in global crude oil prices (Brent crude plunged 8.7% in the previous session, slipping toward $94 per barrel), which helped lower India's import costs and eased pressure on the rupee, giving companies some breathing room.
