IndiGo resumes Delhi-Guangzhou flights after 5-year break
IndiGo is bringing back its daily direct flights between Delhi and Guangzhou starting November 10, 2025, after a five-year break that began in 2020.
Operated by Airbus A320s, tickets are already up for grabs.
This restart is all about making travel between India and China smoother again.
Flight schedule
Flights leave Delhi at 9:45pm and land in Guangzhou at 4:40am. The return trip takes off from Guangzhou at 5:50am and gets you back to Delhi by 10:10am.
With this route, IndiGo connects Guangzhou to its wide network, making it one of the first airlines to link these countries post-pandemic.
Why it matters
This move follows recent talks between PM Modi and President Xi Jinping focused on trade and better ties.
Since China is India's biggest trading partner, restarting flights is a positive step toward normalizing things after years of pandemic disruptions and border tensions.
More routes to China
The airline isn't stopping hereāit has announced daily Kolkata-Guangzhou flights, set to begin October 26, 2025, showing IndiGo's focus on growing its East Asia connections with help from local partnerships and experience in the region.
