Indofast is bringing 10,000 new battery-swapping stations to Indian cities
Indofast Energy (a team-up between IndianOil and SUN Mobility) just announced a massive ₹10,000 crore push to expand its battery-swapping network.
From 1,200 stations in 22 cities today, they're aiming for a total of 10,000 stations—especially in busy places like Mumbai, Jaipur, and Delhi-NCR.
The focus right now? Making things easier for delivery fleets and logistics companies by using IndianOil's huge network.
Fast swaps now, bigger plans ahead
Each Indofast station can handle up to 28 quick swaps at once, keeping electric vehicles on the move with minimal wait time.
So far, their network has powered over a billion kilometers through 39 million swaps.
While they hope to serve individual EV users down the line, their current priority is helping fleet operators stay charged and on schedule.
