Infibeam to pour ₹700cr into Rediff.com for AI-powered super app

Business

Infibeam Avenues is set to invest up to ₹700 crore in Rediff.com over the next three years, aiming to turn the classic portal into an AI-first super app.
Infibeam wants to use this investment to fast-track AI features across the platform.

What's changing?

Infibeam recently put in another ₹87 crore via a rights issue and is shifting its focus back to fintech and AI payments.
Meanwhile, Rediff.com will take the lead on building out a new ecosystem that blends e-commerce, content, and community—all powered by artificial intelligence.

How will it work?

Rediff's big revamp centers on three main offerings: RediffOne (for users), RediffPay (for payments), and Rediff TV (for content).
With 100 million users already on board and over 20,000 merchants using RediffOne, this fresh funding is set to help them level up their game with smarter tech and more connected experiences.
