Reliance Jio launches Rs. 49, 69 plans for JioPhone users

Reliance Jio has updated its catalog of prepaid plans to introduce a couple of new packs for JioPhone users. The latest recharge options, available in denominations of Rs. 49 and Rs. 69, arrive as short validity plans. They offer a service period of just 14 days while packing benefits such as unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls and up to 7GB of data.

The Rs. 69 plan offers 500MB data each day

The Rs. 69 pack offers unlimited Jio-to-Jio voice calls, 25 free SMSes, and 0.5GB of high-speed data per day for a total of 14 days. Once the daily data limit is reached, you will get access to the internet but at a reduced speed of 64kbps. For calls to other networks (off-net calls), the plan provides a total of 250 minutes.

What are the benefits of the Rs. 49 plan

Meanwhile, the pocket-friendly Rs. 49 plan offers the same benefits as the Rs. 69 plan, except that it comes with 2GB of high-speed data (total). When this FUP limit is exhausted, subscribers will get access to internet at a reduced speed of 64kbps.

Both plans also offer complimentary access to Jio apps

Like all other JioPhone prepaid plans, the new Rs. 69 and Rs. 49 packs also provide complimentary access to all the Jio apps such as JioTV, JioSaavn, JioCloud, JioCinema, JioCall, and JioMoney. Recently, JioTV expanded its catalog of channels to beat rival services like Airtel Xstream and Vodafone Play. The company's free TV streaming service now provides as many as 679 Live TV channels.

Jio also offers monthly packs for JioPhone users

Separately, if you are looking for a monthly pack for your JioPhone, there are four "All-In-One-Plans" that the company offers at present. These plans, available in denominations of Rs. 75, Rs. 125, Rs. 155, and Rs. 185, offer 28 days of validity, up to 2GB high-speed data per day, up to 100 SMSes/day, unlimited Jio-to-Jio calls, and up to 500 minutes for non-Jio calls.
