Mamaearth's parent company invests ₹10 crore in Couch Commerce

Business

Honasa Consumer, the company behind Mamaearth and The Derma Co., just picked up a 25% stake in Mumbai-based startup Couch Commerce for ₹10 crore.
The deal, sealed on November 12, gives Honasa a way into the oral care space through Couch Commerce's Fang Oral toothpaste and teeth whitening products.

Couch commerce's growth and Honasa's strategic expansion

Couch Commerce has seen its revenue soar—from ₹70 lakh last year to ₹3.14 crore this year, and it's now pacing at ₹7 crore annually as of September 2025.
For Honasa, teaming up means they can branch out beyond their usual personal care lines and tap into new trends with up-and-coming brands.

Honasa's latest revenue and profit figures

Honasa isn't slowing down—revenue hit ₹538 crore in Q2 FY26 (up 16% from last year), and net profit reached ₹39 crore after bouncing back from losses.
Over 75% of their money now comes from essentials like face wash, shampoo, sunscreen, moisturizer, and baby care—all thanks to fresh ideas and expanding categories.
