Meltwater expands Hyderabad AI hub to accelerate R&D

Meltwater just leveled up its Hyderabad AI Hub, moving into a bigger 14,000 sq. ft. space after only a year.
The new facility will host a growing R&D team focused on building smarter AI tools.
The company aims to double its local team to 150 by 2026.

Meltwater's local team has already developed MIRA and language systems

The Hyderabad crew has already built MIRA, an AI assistant that delivers quick insights through chat, plus language systems that can handle over 200 languages—helping Meltwater analyze about a billion pieces of content every day for clients worldwide.
To keep the momentum going, they're recruiting top engineering grads from IIT Hyderabad and BITS Pilani in Hyderabad, with more hiring planned at IISc and IIIT Bangalore through campus recruitment drives.
