Netflix's Indian arm has reported a whopping 63% increase in net profit for the fiscal year 2024-25. The company posted a profit of ₹85 crore, up from ₹52 crore in the previous fiscal year. The financial data was revealed through filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), as reported by Tofler.
Operational growth
Revenue from operations jumps by 32%
Netflix's revenue from operations also saw a significant jump of 32%, rising to ₹3,769 crore from ₹2,846 crore in the previous fiscal year. The increase was largely attributed to strong subscriber growth through direct acquisitions and bundling partnerships with telecom operators. Industry estimates suggest that Netflix has a subscriber base of around 20-22 million users across direct-to-consumer and bundled plans.
