Reliance Jio launches Rs. 4,999 annual prepaid plan

Just days after replacing its Rs. 2,020 annual recharge plan with a Rs. 2,121 pack, Reliance Jio has launched a new Rs. 4,999 yearly prepaid plan in India. The new long-term pack offers a total data of 350GB, unlimited calling benefit, free access to Jio apps, and a service validity of 360 days. Notably, the plan is now available for recharge on Jio.com.

Here's a look at the benefits of Rs. 4,999 plan

The Rs. 4,999 prepaid plan offers unlimited Jio-to-Jio voice calls, 350GB of data with no daily limit, and 100 SMSes per day for a total of 360 days. For calls to other networks (off-net calls), the plan provides 12,000 minutes. Once this FUP limit is exhausted, you will have to add additional talk-time for making calls to non-Jio numbers.

Subscribers also get complimentary access to Jio suite of apps

Just like other Jio prepaid plans, the new Rs. 4,999 prepaid plan also provides complimentary access to Jio's suite of apps such as JioTV, JioSaavn, JioCloud, JioCinema, JioCall, and JioMoney.

Rs. 2,121 plan is another well-balanced, long-term plan

The Rs. 2,121 prepaid plan offers unlimited Jio-to-Jio voice calls, 1.5GB of high-speed daily data, and free SMSes (capped at 100 per day) for a total of 336 days. For calls to other networks (off-net calls), the plan provides a total of 12,000 minutes. Additionally, subscribers also get free access to all Jio apps.

Rs. 1,299 plan also offers 336 days of validity

The Rs. 1,299 recharge plan also provides 336 days of validity, 12,000 minutes for non-Jio calling, free access to Jio suite of apps, and a total of 3,600 SMSes. However, the total data benefit available on this plan is limited to just 24GB.
