Notably, the combined sale of all three TVs via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores "marks an industry first" milestone for Xiaomi India. Here's more on this development.
Decoding Xiaomi's success mantra
Firstly, in terms of hardware and software, Xiaomi managed to pack in all the latest technology to offer a smart TV experience via its Android-based PatchWall UI. Secondly, it is an established fact that content is key for TV. Xiaomi leveraged its partnership with Hotstar, SonyLIV and others to offer free content. And lastly, with aggressive pricing, Xiaomi outperformed the competition.
Flipkart's platform was also instrumental in driving sales
Xiaomi's partnership with Flipkart has also been crucial in bolstering sales of Mi TVs. With timely flash sales, quick deliveries, additional discounts and brilliant after-sales services, Flipkart managed to penetrate into less-served markets, thereby establishing Xiaomi as a dependable TV brand.
