Redmi Note 5, Mi TV flash sales today on Flipkart

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Mi TVs will go on sale in India, starting 12pm today. The Redmi Note 5 Pro (4GB and 6GB RAM variants) will be available via both Flipkart and Mi India e-store while the Mi TVs (32-inch, 43-inch, and 55-inch models) will be up for grabs only on Mi India e-store. The Redmi Note 5 Pro now comes at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM variant while the 6GB RAM variant will cost Rs. 16,999. The Mi TV 55-inch 4K Smart TV is priced at Rs. 44,999. The 43-inch Full-HD Mi TV 4A model costs Rs. 22,999 while the 32-inch HD model will be available at Rs. 13,999.
While Flipkart is offering a standard buyback guarantee and extra warranty, at Mi India e-store buyers can exchange their old handsets. They will also get damage protection for a year at Rs. 999. Moreover, Xiaomi is also offering a 3-month free subscription to Hungama Music. Jio subscribers will be entitled to a cashback of Rs. 2,200 in the form of vouchers and 4.5TB free data.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro features a 5.99-inch Full-HD+ display with a unibody metal design, a massive 4,000mAh battery and runs MIUI 9 on top of Android Nougat. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM options and 64GB internal storage which is expandable via microSD card. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset makes it the "fastest Redmi Note ever".
In terms of optics, the smartphone sports a dual-camera setup featuring a 12-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture primary sensor and a 5-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture secondary sensor. On the front, the smartphone gets a stunning 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor along with a LED selfie-light module.
Measuring at 4.99 millimeters, Mi TV 4 features a 55-inch 4K HDR display with 60Hz refresh rate and 178-degree viewing angle. The TV is powered by an Amlogic Cortex-A53 quad-core CPU, clocked at 1.8GHz along with a Mali T-830 image processor, 2GB RAM and 8GB storage. For immersive sound, the TV comes with Dolby+DTS Cinema, two 8W speakers and Xiaomi's AI-powered PatchWall UI.
Mi TVs are going on sale via Mi India e-store and Xiaomi will only accept prepaid orders (no cash-on-delivery). Further, buyers will get a free 3-month subscription to services like ACT Fibrenet, Sony LIV and Hungama Play and 1-month free subscription to Eros Now.
The Mi TV 4A 43-inch model sports a full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) display while the 32-inch model has an HD (1366x768 pixels) display. Notably, both the panels have a 178-degree viewing angle and 60Hz refresh rate. In terms of specifications, all models are powered by an Amlogic quad-core processor, paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
