TruAlt Bioenergy to build ₹2,250cr green fuel plant in Andhra Pradesh

TruAlt Bioenergy is teaming up with the Andhra Pradesh government to launch a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) plant, investing about ₹2,250 crore.
The plant will turn things like farm leftovers and used cooking oil into cleaner jet fuel, with support from the state's Economic Development Board.

Founder Vijay Murugesh Nirani says SAF can help cut carbon emissions and boost India's energy security as the country aims to become a fuel exporter.
Despite this big move, TruAlt's shares have slipped since their October 3 debut—down 2.82% on Friday—reflecting a decline of 5.03% over the past month.
