Uber lets drivers earn by training AI

Uber just rolled out a pilot program in the US where drivers can earn extra cash by helping train AI—think recording voice samples or snapping pics of things like restaurant menus.
This follows successful tests in India and is part of Uber's push to offer more flexible ways for drivers to make money.

New features for drivers

Uber also dropped some handy new features: better job info, a color-coded map showing busy areas, and even an option to pick passengers by gender.
They're tweaking deactivation rules so drivers won't lose full app access over one issue, plus there's a Delayed Ride Guarantee for unavoidable holdups and more reminders for riders to tip.
All these changes are aimed at making driving with Uber a bit smoother and more rewarding.
