Xiaomi Redmi 5, Mi TV flash sale starts tomorrow

In a tweet, Xiaomi India has announced that more than 4 lakh units of the recently launched Redmi 5 will go on sale via Amazon.in and Mi.com at 12PM tomorrow. Additionally, the Mi TV 4A and Mi TV 4 will also be up for grabs on Flipkart and the company's online store Mi.com. Here's everything you need to know about tomorrow's flash sales.

The Redmi 5 starts at Rs. 7,999 for 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant, 3GB/ 32GB variant comes at Rs. 8,999 and 4GB/ 64GB variant at Rs. 10,999. The smartphone comes in four color options - Black, Gold, Rose Gold, and Lake Blue. Further, there is a Rs. 2,200 cashback offer for Reliance Jio customers and a 5 percent discount for SBI credit card holders.
The Redmi 5 features a 5.7-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) 18:9 display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. Running the Android Nougat-based MIUI 9, the dual-SIM smartphone packs a 3,300 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, you get 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also packs proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope and accelerometer.
In terms of optics, the Redmi 5 bears a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash. One the front, you get a 5-megapixel shooter with LED selfie light module, video calling and a Smart Beauty 3.0 app for enhancing selfies.
Xiaomi will also host flash sales for its Mi Smart LED TVs via Flipkart and Mi.com tomorrow at 12pm. The 55-inch Mi TV 4 is priced at Rs. 39,999, the 43-inch Mi TV 4A comes at Rs. 22,999 and the 32-inch Mi TV 4A at Rs. 13,999. All three TVs come with a 1-year warranty on product and additional 1-year on display panel.
The Mi TV 4A 43-inch model sports a full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) display while the 32-inch model has an HD (1366x768 pixels) display. Notably, both display panels have a 178-degree viewing angle and 60Hz refresh rate. In terms of specifications, all models are powered by an Amlogic quad-core processor, paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
Measuring at 4.99 millimeters, Mi TV 4 features a 55-inch 4K HDR display with 60Hz refresh rate and 178-degree viewing angle. The TV is powered by an Amlogic Cortex-A53 quad-core CPU, clocked at 1.8GHz along with a Mali T-830 image processor, 2GB RAM and 8GB storage. For an immersive sound, the TV comes with Dolby+DTS Cinema, two 8W speakers Xiaomi's AI-powered PatchWall UI.
At the time of launch, Xiaomi had announced free 3-month subscriptions to Sony Liv and Hungama Play, the Mi IR cable (worth Rs. 299), and on-site installation worth Rs. 1,099 for free. Notably, the TV comes bundled with a Bluetooth-enabled Mi Remote that can be used to seamlessly control your set-top box and the television via Mi IR cable.
