You can now take 2 pets in cabin on Akasa

Akasa Air just made traveling with your furry friends easier—you can now bring two pets in the cabin, with a maximum weight limit of 10kg per pet instead of one.
Booking is open until 24 hours before departure, so last-minute plans are totally doable.

Over 8,500 pets have traveled since launch

"Pets on Akasa" covers 24 Indian cities—including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai—and has helped over 8,500 pets travel since launch.
Pet owners get free window seats, priority check-in, and quicker baggage handling.

Other updates for pet travel

Pet travel certificates are now valid for 15 days (less paperwork stress!).
Plus, Akasa's teamed up with Umeed for Animals Foundation and trained its staff to make sure pets get a comfy and safe journey every time.
