What's the story
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026. Candidates can now apply till March 11, 2026, at 9:00pm on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. The previous deadline was March 8, giving candidates an additional three days to complete their applications.

The NTA has advised candidates to complete their applications within this extended period, as no further extensions will be given. After the registration window closes, the agency will move on to other stages of the examination process, such as the application correction window, city intimation slip release, and admit card issuance for registered candidates.

The application correction window will be open from March 10 to March 12, allowing candidates to edit certain fields and correct mistakes made during registration. To apply for NEET UG 2026, candidates must visit neet.nta.nic.in and click on the registration link. They should register by providing basic details, fill out the online application form carefully, upload required documents such as a photograph and signature, and pay the application fee through an online payment method before submitting their forms.
