Delhi: 2 sisters found dead in home; mother unconscious

In a suspected case of murder-suicide bid, two sisters, aged 33 and 28, were found dead inside their home in Malviya Nagar, South Delhi, on Thursday evening. According to PTI, the incident was reported to the police around 6:10pm after relatives raised concerns over the family's failure to respond despite repeated knocking. When authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered that the main door had been locked from the inside.

Sisters found dead in separate rooms
Upon forcing entry into the house, police found the two sisters dead in separate rooms. One sister was lying on a bed with a pillow over her face, while the other had a ligature mark around her neck indicating possible strangulation. Their mother was found unconscious in another room and was immediately rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre for treatment.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the mother may have killed her daughters before attempting to take her own life. Crime and forensic teams have examined the scene and collected evidence for further analysis. A senior police officer was quoted as saying, "The matter is under investigation, and further details will be ascertained after the woman regains consciousness and forensic reports are examined."
