Delhi woke up to severe smog on Monday, with an AQI of 462 recorded at 6:00am. All monitoring stations in the city reported AQI above 400. Rohini recorded an alarming AQI of 499, while Jahangirpuri and Vivek Vihar followed closely at 495. The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) earlier invoked Stage IV of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), which includes a ban on construction activities and recommends work-from-home measures for government offices.
