Alia, Deepika headline India's top celebrity brand value list
What's the story
The latest Kroll Celebrity Brand Valuation Report for 2025 has revealed a significant change in the Indian celebrity landscape. The report shows that nearly half of the top 25 celebrity brands are now female actors, with a total of 12 actors making it to this elite list. This is an increase from nine female actors in the 2024 rankings. The remaining spots are occupied by male film stars and cricketers.
Brand worth
India's top 25 celebrities boast $2B combined brand value
The report estimates that the combined brand value of India's top 25 celebrities stands at a whopping $2 billion in 2025. This highlights the increasing commercial clout of female actors in India's endorsement ecosystem.
The 12 female actors who made it to this year's list are Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, Kriti Sanon, Ananya Panday, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Tamannaah Bhatia, Janhvi Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, and Anushka Sharma.
Rising stars
Rising stars and improved rankings
The report also shows that several female actors have improved their rankings.
Mandanna moved up from 15th to 12th place, Panday from 25th to 19th, while Prabhu made her debut at 21st position after being previously ranked at 28th.
Meanwhile, one of the surprising aspects of the report is the absence of any South Indian male superstar in the top 25.
Despite their global popularity, actors like Allu Arjun, Prabhas, and Mahesh Babu are missing from this year's rankings.
