Rajinikanth grooves to 'Muthu' songs in daughter's mehendi ceremony

Rajinikanth's younger daughter Soundarya and businessman-turned-actor Vishagan Vanangamudi are gearing up for their grand wedding on February 11. It is going to be a lavish affair and the festivities for their big day have already begun. Reportedly, the couple had an intimate mehendi-sangeet ceremony on Saturday. In fact, a video of Rajinikanth grooving on the dance floor has also gone viral on social media.
It was a night of celebration for both Soundarya and Vishagan's family and they did make most of it. According to the media reports, the families had a gala time during the ceremonies and everyone was seen dancing to Rajinikanth's hit numbers. In fact, Rajinikanth himself was seen shaking a leg on his superhit song Oruvan Oruvan Mudhalali.
Meanwhile, Soundarya took it to the micro-blogging site Twitter to share pictures of her mehendi ceremony. The bride-to-be posted candid pictures with the three important men of her life; father Rajinikanth, son Ved and beau Vishagan. Undoubtedly, the pictures spoke volumes about their bond of love. Earlier, Rajinikanth hosted an extravagant pre-wedding reception for Soundarya and Vishagan in a plush hotel in Chennai. It was an intimate affair and was attended by family and close friends. Interestingly, the wedding festivities began with a sumangali pooja at Rajinikanth's residence on Friday. The pooja was followed by a reception party for the couple. Soundarya-Vishagan complemented each other perfectly in their traditional outfits.
Notably, this is second marriage for both Soundarya and Vishagan. Soundarya was earlier married to businessman Ashwin Ramkumar for seven years, and they also had a son together. The two got divorced in 2010 over irreconcilable differences. On the other hand, Vishagan, who was married to magazine editor Kanikha Kumaran, also divorced his wife a few years ago.
