He acquired a 2.67-acre land parcel from The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) for ₹35 crore, marking his third investment in the city. The new property is situated close to HoABL's sprawling 75-acre The Sarayu project.

Bachchan's latest purchase is his fourth plotted development deal with HoABL. In May 2025, he purchased a 25,000sq ft plot near The Sarayu for nearly ₹40 crore. Earlier in 2024, he had acquired a 10,000 sq ft plot within the same project, a luxury mixed-use enclave in Ayodhya, for ₹14.5 crore. His real estate portfolio also includes a 10,000 sq ft land parcel in HoABL's Sol de Alibaug project, where he invested ₹10 crore, reported Hindustan Times.

As per a report by Liases Foras titled Ayodhya - A Rising Global Spiritual Capital, the prices in Ayodhya have recorded a compound annual growth rate of 19%, with projections suggesting the rate could rise to 25% by 2035. The city's growth has been driven by large-scale infrastructure projects such as the expansion of the international airport.
