Anshuman Jha assumes directorial role for Lakadbaggha 2
Anshuman Jha, who also stars in the film, has stepped in as director for "Lakadbaggha 2 - The Monkey Business," replacing Sanjay Shetty after just three days of shooting.
The switch was made to keep the film's creative vision on track, with Shetty now helping out as a creative consultant.
Jha's vision for the sequel
Jha is bringing his own style to the sequel—he's focusing on tighter casting and upgraded visual effects.
He's also brought in martial artists Sunny Pang and Dan Chupong to make the action scenes feel more real, even reshooting some early footage to match his vision.
Jha knows the franchise well
Jha knows this franchise inside out—he starred in the first "Lakadbaggha" film.
His passion for action and animal welfare makes him a natural fit to lead the sequel.
Shetty was on board for a short while
Sanjay Shetty started off as director but amicably stepped aside early on.
He'll still be involved behind the scenes as a consultant, helping keep things smooth as "Lakadbaggha 2 - The Monkey Business" moves forward.
