Born on November 17, 1975, Anurag Singh is an Indian film director, producer, and writer best known for producing the blockbuster movie ‘Kesari’ (2019) and for critically acclaimed Punjabi movies ‘Punjab 1984,’ ‘Jatt and Juliet,’ and ‘Yaar Annmulle.’ Singh began his career in 2012 by working on the Punjabi movie ‘Jatt & Juliet.’ Following this, he assisted Bollywood director Raj Kanwar. Between 2007 and 2021, Singh has directed nine movies, produced three movies, and written six movies. He was awarded the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Punjabi for his film ‘Punjab 1984.’ He has also been conferred with eight PTC Punjabi Film Awards as of 2021.
