'Apne' producer slams director for saying sequel shelved

Producer Deepak Mukut has slammed director Anil Sharma for saying that Apne 2 can't be made without Dharmendra. In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Sharma had said, "Apne to apno ke bina nahi ho sakti. Without Dharam ji, it's impossible to make the sequel. Everything was on track, and the script was ready, but he left us." However, Mukut disagrees with this statement and believes that Apne 2 should be made now more than ever before.
