Armaan Jain is an Indian actor who works in the Hindi film industry. He belongs to the illustrious Kapoor family and is the grandson of legendary actor Raj Kapoor. Armaan was born to Rima Jain and Manoj Jain and also has a younger brother Aadar Jain who made his Bollywood debut with the 2017 musical drama ‘Qaidi Band.’ Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan are his cousins. He started his career in showbiz as an assistant director on the 2010 film ‘My Name is Khan.’ Following this, he continued his work as an assistant director in the 2012 films ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu,’ and ‘Student of the Year.’ In 2014, Armaan made his acting debut in the 2014 romantic drama film ‘Lekar Hum Deewana Dil.’ He was taken in the film on the recommendation of his cousin, Ranbir Kapoor. In February 2020, Armaan got married to fashion blogger and marketing consultant Anissa Malhotra. In 2021, he was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection to a money-laundering case.
